Glulam wood

The glulam is an industrial product and is obtained by a production process which basically consists of the classification of unitary elements (tables) that compose it and in their recomposition, by gluing and finger joints to give rise to the shape and predetermined size. Among the main characteristics of this product are the lightness, the possibility of reaching lengths and curvatures not achievable with solid wood and thanks to a low internal humidity guaranteed in the production phase, the significantly attenuation characteristics of typical properties of solid wood such as camber, warping and cracking. Due to current construction techniques uses of laminated wood in the construction of buildings and infrastructure are very numerous: simple load-bearing beams, roof systems to large curvature, the roofs of private homes, complex structures with large spans, roofs of school buildings, large commercial, industrial and agricultural roofs of sports facilities such as gyms, swimming pools or forums for outdoor stadiums.

Particularly interesting are also laminated wood elements for floors that are characterized by a fast construction system, safe, natural and solid. These wooden elements also offer excellent visual rendering on the lower side, whereby according to the use, can also be left exposed on the ceiling. The floor elements for laminated wood have good noise insulation, heat and fire protection. These products are primarily indicated for the use of floors, walls, floors and roofs.
